BOM.Reporter
The BOM Reporter is the Base Module of the BOM Manager. This module allow you to view, find and report on your Bills of Material in many different ways.
The Desktop
The Desktop allows you to open, view and work with multiple BOM's at the same time regardless of their type. BOM Columns, Application Defaults, colors and other settings can all be tailored to the specific user.
The Integrated Routings option allows you to view your routings, indented directly into the BOM view. This is an option which you can toggle on/off at the click of a button.
Easily Compare two different Bills of Material. The two BOM's can be of the same type, or of different types. So for example you can compare a Job BOM to it's Standard BOM. The Compare function not only shows where the components don't exist in one BOM versus another, but it also shows where the quantities differ.
The Where-used function allows you to identify what BOM's components are being used in. Like all BOM Manager functions, it doesn't matter if the component is in a Standard, Job, Order, or Quote BOM. Components which are found will be highlighted and displayed with in the BOM Structure. So if a component was found at 5 levels down, you will see the highlighted component indented under all 5 of it's Parent Items. Immediate or Full Depth search options let you specify whether to query just the Immediate BOM's (i.e. directly listed in the BOM) or also query any Stock BOM's which may be a part of that BOM.
Need to find the BOM's which must contain two or more components? The BOM Manager allows you enter more than one component to search for, specifying that ALL of the components must be found or ANY of the components will do. Additional Options allow you to search for BOM's tied to a specific Product Class, Customer, Job Number, Job Closed date range, Order Number, Quote Number and many more.
Any BOM window can be printed in a WYSIWYG format. Now you can get precise, clean and efficient BOM reports out of the system. Print Color or Black/White.
